Editor's Verdict:

Anything that you do not have to pay for at first is worth at least trying out; however, also be aware that for this very reason, Learn Piano Online.com does not have anything like the quality or quantity of teaching material of many of the other products under review here.  By all means give it a go, just don't expect this to give you everything you need to play and improve at the piano.  The free introduction is a clever way to get you hooked, but you should consider that most of our top rated products are considerably cheaper than even the cheapest Learn Piano Online package, and offer a lot more.

Being an online course, one of the advantages is that this course offers a convenient link with other online services, such as YouTube and Facebook.  This might be something that appeals to you, but it seems to come at a cost.  It is likely that we will see more programs moving to social networking and media sites to broaden their appeal and reach younger generations, and so although this is quite a novel approach, we doubt it will be for long.

The quality of the lessons is not high, and the entire production is slightly unprofessional.  The course is not on a par with the internet scams that claim to teach you perfect piano before taking your money for little in return, but neither is it up there with the top-rated products in this category.  If it was a third or a quarter of the price, it might well be something to consider, but at nearly a hundred bucks for the lowest of the three packages, it is one of the more expensive products on the market - with little justification.
